As a grownup, I sometimes get weary facing the realities of life.
I get nostalgic for a time when my biggest concern was eating my Bomb Pop before it melted
or making sure my Dixie Cup was filled with Hawaiin Punch. The fact that I
was consuming red dye no.40, blue dye no.1, and tons of sugar never crossed my mind.
I just enjoyed the sweet, yummy goodness. Ah, youth.

It's all so true. Yesterday looks better in retrospect. I'm still trying to deal with that thing called "the shifting sands of intellect."
ReplyDeleteOne day it's good for ya, then next week it isn't. Then next year they discover it's high in antioxidents. I hope blue pop is on that list.
