HRT #44

As an artist, my job is to elicit a reaction from the viewer — good or bad.
No response is just damn frustrating.

I will be heading out on Saturday to get my children's book professionally critiqued.
I may wish to have been ignored after that process!

P.S.—
Thank you to everyone who submitted an entry to the
2012 Hair-raising Thoughts Contest!
I will be reviewing the entries this week and hope to announce the winner by next Friday.

  1. I think it depends on who is doing the critique.
As mother would tell us, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all."
Of course, 'nice' could be subjective.
'Constructive' could be a good substitute for 'nice'.

  2. It is said that sometimes the healer doesn't know
if their prayer was responsible for the healing of
another. Keeps us humble I guess. But don't feel bad,
because God gets ignored all the time. And he does
    mighty works. Go figure.
